The Department of Neurology, Juntendo University Nerima Hospital is an integrated, multidisciplinary department specializing in the evaluation and treatment of people with neurological diseases. Our neurologists are widely respected for their high-quality clinical care in the community.

Our neurologists make use of the most advanced diagnostics and recent clinical innovations to diagnose and treat very complex and difficult-to-diagnose neurological disorders. Neurology specialists in our department provide medical care in the general outpatient clinic and specialized outpatient clinic and also inpatient medical care. We provide accurate diagnoses and better treatments by utilizing techniques, such as the most advanced imaging devices, and electrophysiological technologies in which we have made extensive achievements.

Target diseases

Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, epilepsy, headache, ataxia, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinocerebellar degeneration, multiple sclerosis, facial spasm, dizziness, and numbness.
  • Strong Fields. Diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and related disorders, dementia, and cerebrovascular disorders using CT, MRI, and SPECT.
  • Specialized Outpatient Clinic. We provide medical care in specialized outpatient clinics for Parkinson's disease. We are also involved in the second opinion outpatient clinic.
