Hematology

The Department of Hematology is concerned with the causes and treatments of blood disorders.

Medical services

In our department, we conduct diagnoses through the treatment of hematological malignancies, as well as non-malignant hematological disorders. The qualifying ages of patients are adolescents and adults. We provide chemotherapy for outpatients at the Outpatient Chemotherapy Room in cooperation with the Cancer Treatment Center, and also laminar airflow administration where necessary. The case indication of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is introduced to our affiliated hospitals.

Diagnosis and treatment policy

All department staff are hematological specialists, and endeavor to treat patients with “Patient-First” hospitality.

Target diseases

Hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue neoplasms (acute leukemia, chronic leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms, myelodysplastic syndromes, malignant lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematopoietic tumors), anemia (aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia and other types of anemia), bleeding disorders (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and hemophilia) and others.
