Nephrology
The Department of Nephrology treats not only kidney diseases, but also abnormal blood pressure and performs dialysis therapy for end stage renal disease (ESRD).Medical services
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is common, harmful, and treatable. CKD causes not only end stage renal disease, but also cardiovascular disease (CVD). Proteinuria and hypertension are risk factors for the progression of CKD. An early diagnosis and treatment can prevent the progression of CKD. Our staff are able to treat every kind of kidney disease as well as hypertension patients. We also take care of ESRD patients undergoing hemodialysis and CAPD in our hemodialysis center. Vascular access surgery is feasible.Diagnosis and treatment policy
Kidney disease can be detected in a medical check-up without symptoms apart from proteinuria or hematuria. We diagnose kidney diseases by examining urine and blood samples. A renal biopsy may be performed to help establish a diagnosis, and suggest a prognosis or direct therapy. We always consider the condition of the patient and select the most beneficial treatment to obtain the best patient outcome. Our aim is to achieve “whole-hearted” healthcare.Target diseases
